- Jul 25, 2012 · Whenever I sleep my computer and it successfully wakes, it logs when I put it to sleep and when I wake it up in the Event Viewer. When it dosen't fully wake up, when the event 41 kernel power indicates I did a hard shutdown, there is no sign of me ever putting the computer to sleep.
- There was some mention of a faulty power strip causing power issues. I plugged the computer into a wall socket and had the same issue. After doing this I had several problems, which may or may not be relevant. Windows Update did not run. It hangs for ages and ages. I left it for a while, and when I came back, the computer had once again shut down.
STRAIGHT POWER 11 which is powerful enough to power my system.
