For this example we’ll use a basic three.js setup as described in WebGL 3D Model Viewer Using three.js. You can also use any of the various three.js examples in the official repository2. The object we’ll annotate is a simple box with a width, height and depth of 500 units.

Dec 17, 2015 · For this assignment I used a Sprite to create an animation. Basically, I used an Image function and changed x and y coordinates in the sprite locating the different images. I also changed the position of the image being draw to give the notion of the guy running.
It’s heavily commented, but doesn’t really explain any Three.js or Phaser specifics, see earlier tutorials for that. We are going to render a threejs scene to a canvas, and then use that canvas as a sprite. In this example, the Threejs scene will be visible, while in real life you would set it to invisible. Sprites have a pivot point, which they can be rotated around. The pivot point is also used when positioning (think of it as a handle) a sprite. A sprite’s default pivot point is set to its top-left corner. That’s why when positioning our sprite at the top-left corner of the stage, we set its position at (0,0).

Alpha blending Regular alpha blending. This often means that objects have to be considered as “semitransparent”, and thus can’t use some of the rendering features (for example: deferred shading, can’t receive shadows). Concave or overlapping alpha-blended objects often also have draw ordering issues.

In THREE JS, we can simply set the resolution of a composer object which in turn, sets the resolution of the render targets used by all passes belonging to that composer. For our example, the code below sets the resolution of our blur composer.
